British Wool traditional Ganseys, made to order

About the Ganseys

This is a recreation of a working Gansey from the origins of the TVLB, created in partnership with Jo Storie

The garments have been designed in Northumberland and knitted in Cumbria in a small artisanal factory, using yarn from British farmers which is spun at a Yorkshire Mill and finally embroidered in Whitley Bay.

Our Gansey is finished with a hand made leather etched patch identifier on the sleeve. Each sweater will be  registered in the log book of our historic Watch House museum in Tynemouth.

A donation to TVLB is made from the sale of each item sold
