Show your support and become an Honorary Member

We need £30,000 a year to fund our rescue team and museum. By becoming an Honorary Member, you are essentially committing to support us on an annual basis by giving a small donation (monthly or annually) via JustGiving, Bank Transfer or Cheque.

We recommend that to be £20 a year – or more if you can afford it.

This provides us with regular income that is essential to the work and efforts of the TVLB in providing year-round search and rescue services to North Tyneside’s community and maintain our historic free-to-visit Watch House museum.

We’re a registered charity

As a registered independent charity that’s not part of the government-funded Coastguard Rescue Service, or the RNLI, the Brigade is totally funded by voluntary donations, bequests, sponsored events and importantly, through regular giving as Honorary Membership.

We would be delighted if you would join as an Honorary Member.

To join, please fill in the form below and indicate how you will pay for membership

Payment for honorary membership can be made via:

  • Online donation on JustGiving here (either one-off or a monthly direct debit)
This is our preferred method as it also allows us to claim GiftAid which adds an additional 20% to your donation.

  • Bank transfer – Pay to NatWest bank,
    Sort code: 55-81-19
    account no: 86500511

Please use “Hon” and your name as a reference on the payment. You may wish to set this up as an annual standing order

  • Cheque – Please make cheques payable to ‘TVLB’ and post them to our Secretary:
